Scholarship program
The Scholarship Program is offerered through the National Meat Industry Training Advisory Council Limited (MINTRAC). Three categories of scholarships are available:
- Undergraduate Scholarships
Undergraduate scholarships are available to students of all ages that are interested in a career in meat processing. Successful applicants will combine full time study at a university with annual vacation work at a processing plant.
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage people to join the processing industry and gain tertiary qualifications which will benefit the industry in the future.

- Up-skilling Scholarships
Up-skilling scholarships are available to meat processing workers employed by AMPC member companies to upgrade their qualifications by undertaking full or part time studies to gain a diploma level or higher qualification.
This program has been developed to support on-site personnel that have demonstrated natural ability, commitment and expertise in their field to gain higher qualifications.

- Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Postgraduate research scholarships are available to students who are undertakinga PhD, Masters or Honours research degree in an area of importance to the meat industry.
This program has been developed to support research in the meat industry and encourage qualified people to join the industry.
