Databases

MLA has compiled some useful databases for use when you are developing new products.

You will be able to find suppliers of a particular ingredient, suppliers for specified packaging, suppliers for processing equipment, facilities where you can develop and trial your product and the food regulations that relate to meat.

Access the value adding databases

  • Meat Innovation Database
    Search for types of innovative or value added products based on meat type, packaging, category of product and country.

  • Ingredient Suppliers Database
    Search for ingredient suppliers by method of preparation or storage, type of ingredient, use for ingredient and supplier accreditation status.

  • Equipment Suppliers Database
    Search for equipment suppliers by keyword, product produced and storage method.

  • Research & Development Facilities Database
    Search for research and development facilities available and the types of equipment available based on the product or service offered, meat category, preparation and storage method, value added category and accreditation status.

  • Packaging Suppliers Database
    Search for packaging suppliers by equipment and materials supplied and packaging use.

  • FSANZ Regulations Database
    A food regulations database that links with Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ).
