Beef boning products
Products for use in the beef boning process can be categorised as manual assist devices or fully automated systems. Manual assist devices help an operator to complete a boning task, whereas fully automated systems removes the requirement for an operator.
Manual assist devices
- The RTL Beef Boning Unit is a manual assist device developed in collaboration with Meat and Livestock Australia. It is now commercially available.
- Australian meat processing company, Teys, have developed the Teys Knuckle Puller.
- The HookAssist device is currently under development.
